TGM surface subway (railway) connecting the capital
Tunis with tourist area of North Grand Tunis. TGM begins in Tunis - Marina and continues through port of La Goulette, the city of Le Kram, Carthage and Sidi Bou Said into
La Marsa.

The track is long approximately 19 kilometers and was constructed in 1872 as the first Tunisian railway. Since 1905 track is known as the TGM. Today TGM is a part of the capital Public transportation driven by Transtu Company . In 1979 TGM was renovated. In 2012 TGM is again under reconstruction, which will take about 2 years.
TGM has 18 stations (see below). One of them has name Aéroport, but it is not the International Tunis-Carthage airport, as some sources suggest, but original place of former airport, which doesn't operate anymore. Instead of the airport is there green zone and Park of Le Kram.
